Covey Rise Plantation, Inc. is located on the banks of the Flint River in game rich Southwest Georgia. We are a family run, full service lodge dedicated to bringing you and your guest the ultimate quail hunting experience. We hunt where the quail are plentiful and where every possible preparation is made to ensure an enjoyable and successful hunt.
One of the most appealing aspects of CoveyRise is our total commitment to you and your party. You are our exclusive guests during your stay. Our full attention is devoted to you, "the whole plantation is yours." You will notice the difference.
Hunts
Thoughts of Southwest Georgia and quail hunting invoke memories of times past. Men and dogs searching field edges and stands of longleaf pines for those explosive and fast flying bobwhites.
It doesn't have to be a memory. Since 1986, our goal at CoveyRise Plantation, Inc. has been to provide our guests the ultimate quail hunting experience. We are ready to turn your memory into reality.
CoveyRise Plantation, Inc. is exclusive. We do not mix different groups together. This adds greatly to you and your guests enjoyment. We can accommodate up to twelve hunters. Minimum group size is six hunters. Remember this trip is about your enjoyment.
We hunt out of fully equipped jeeps with two guests, one guide and four to eight dogs. Walking while hunting is encouraged, but can be held to a minimum if needed. Our guides are the backbone of your hunting experience at CoveyRise.
They love quail hunting and they love helping guests have a great time. They all have many years of experience with dogs and shooting. As our guides are the backbone of your hunting trip, our dogs are the heart and soul. There are few sites in the outdoors more reverent than a brace of birddogs on point. It's almost better than the shooting. If you have your own dogs, they are welcome at CoveyRise.
Covey Rise Plantation, Inc. has a wide variety of hunting courses. We hunt through longleaf pine woods, broom sedge patches, and along field borders, all thick with quail. Several of our courses afford views of the Flint River during your hunt.

The accommodations at our riverfront lodge are guaranteed to please. With over 7,000 square feet of living space, rooms of cypress and old heart pine create a comfortable atmosphere of rustic elegance.
Six spacious bedrooms, 5 with two queen beds and 1 with two twin beds, each with private baths can accommodate up to twelve guests.
Other amenities include a dining room, billiard room, pro-shop, large stone fireplace, game table, satellite TV, high speed internet access, and fax/copy alcove.
The large front porch overlooking the beautiful Flint River is always a favorite spot for our guests to relax after a day of hunting. Traditional southern hospitality and a dedicated staff ensure you a pleasurable stay.

- THESE RATES ARE FOR GROUPS OF SIX OR MORE SHOOTERS. PARTIES OF LESS THAN SIX WILL BE CHARGED FOR A MINIMUM OF SIX SHOOTERS.
- SEASON OPENS OCTOBER 15TH AND ENDS MARCH 27TH.
- HUNTING WITH YOUR OWN DOGS IS WELCOME AT COVEYRISE.
- TO ALLOW MORE SHOOTING AND FOR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS COVEYRISE HUNTS TWO PERSONS PER JEEP WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ODD NUMBERED GROUPS.
- NO ALCOHOLIC BERVERAGES ALLOWED UNTIL ALL SHOOTING IS DONE.
Dates are secured by a deposit of 30% before June 15th. All bookings after June 15th will require a 40% deposit at time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable. Balance due upon departure or under established terms. As our work begins long before you and your guests arrive to ensure "The Ultimate Quail Hunting Experience", and the exclusiveness that our guests have come to enjoy, all cancellations made less than one month prior to arrival will be charged and expected to pay the daily rate for number of guests and days booked. Deposits are non-refundable.
